  • Primary Resource Concerns: Water Quality, Soil Health
  • Secondary Resource Concerns: Water Quantity (Base Flow; Wolf Creek, Ogallala, Playas); Degraded Plant Condition & Pest Control (Grazing Management)
  • At-risk Species Habitat (Streams, Grasslands, Wetlands, Lesser Prairie Chicken, Migratory Birds, Upland Birds, Native Fish & Mussels)
* National Proposal to build on efforts of Oklahoma Conservation Commission (OCC) RCPP and Kansas Forest Service (KFS) RCPP efforts (both funded national proposals in first round).  Wolf Creek water needs also help to make this a national issue and bridges water quality (sediment) and water quantity resource concerns.
